Selected as '200 Selected Kyoto Treasures of Nature'
Byoubuiwa is rocks which is 13m height and standing as folding screen on the shores of Fudeshi district.
About 5 small rocks float in the sea towards the northwest. they are in line perfectly so that prove changes in the cracks of the land.
It was named because they look like a folding screen standing from the sea.
It has been featured as one of the landscape of the "Sanin Coast Geopark" because of its unique landscape.
There is a gazebo in the coastal terrace on the opposite shore, you can watch carefully the view of byoubuiwa.
